Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 pm
Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 am
The gear room is located in the basement of Freeman International Center (FIC). Students can borrow sleeping bags, tents, bear canisters, stoves, fuel, rainwear, first aid kits, cross-country skis…this list goes on. Gear can be checked out for one week intervals, although it can be renewed.
The Gear Room does not rent out downhill skis, snowboards, or climbing gear.

Overdue Fines
Like a library, the gear hours charges for overdue gear. The fee is $5 per item times the number of gear hours past due. Please return your gear on time! Even if you are checking out gear for another person, if it is checked out under your name you are responsible for returning the gear.
